President Murray Park contains 2 city blocks of mature spruce trees. This urban forest is home to a variety of songbirds.

Duration: 1 hour
Walk Description: We will walk
through this park listening and looking for any small songbirds that are
present. We may see some finches, thrushes or nuthatches, chickadees and early
migrant warblers. Bring a pair of binoculars, if possible. Any field guide to
the Birds of North America would also be useful.
Meeting Place: NW corner of park at McKinnon Avenue and Aird St.
End Location: Same as
meeting place.

Directions:
Take any bus travelling along College Drive and get off at first stop
east of Clarence Ave or first stop west of Wiggins Ave. Walk 4 blocks south to
the park.
