Jane’s Walk celebrates the ideas and legacy of urbanist Jane Jacobs by getting people out exploring their neighbourhoods and meeting their neighbours. Free walking tours held on the first weekend of May each year are led by locals who want to create a space for residents to talk about what matters to them in the places they live and work.

The City Centre Plan
Meet Your City...Saskatoon City Council enthusiastically endorsed the City Centre Plan in 2013. Plans are underway now to implement many new and exciting changes for the Downtown. This tour will look at some of the key strategies to take Saskatoon’s downtown to the next level. Already popular, the Downtown can attract more people to live and shop as well as more companies to establish a presence in the downtown. But it will take carefully planned improvements to help achieve a population of 15,000 in the Downtown. The City Centre Plan is a big city plan and we will highlight the most important.
